Description
My website is for a film festival in Edinboro that will be exclusively showing animated movies from Studio Ghibli. The main goal of this website is to provide where, when and what movies will be premiering, how to buy tickets, and any other information that users need. My inspiration for the design comes from the aesthetic and style of these animated movies.
The color palette and style of the site are influenced by the films. For the homepage, I digitally painted mountains with a very loose brush and added a dragon from the film Spirited Away. The main mark is the film camera with vibrant colored clouds in the background that brings the camera forward. I wanted the logo to feel whimsical and magical to fit with what these movies represent.
